I began my day at the Art, Culture, and Creative Round Table hosted by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This forum provided a valuable opportunity to engage with key stakeholders and discuss the critical role of the arts and creative sectors in our nation’s development. Following this enriching session, I proceeded to a pivotal meeting with the Committee on Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises at the House of Representatives. This meeting was particularly significant as it involved a detailed discussion with the Director-General of the Budget Office of the Federation. Our focus was on presenting our strategic plans designed to not only bolster the growth and development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) but also to ensure the effective implementation of our initiatives. Central to our discussion was the need to create an enabling environment that includes facilitating access to finance and enhancing capacity development for MSMEs.

These measures are crucial for fostering a supportive ecosystem where small and medium enterprises can thrive and contribute significantly to the national economy. It was an engaging session that underscored our commitment to driving meaningful progress in the MSME sector.

Before concluding my visit to the National Assembly, I made it a point to extend my heartfelt congratulations to my brother and friend, Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao. His recent appointment as the chairperson of the Young Professionals Forum (YPF) is a remarkable achievement, and I wanted to personally acknowledge his success. His leadership in this role is sure to bring about positive change and further the goals of the YPF.

Overall, it was a day filled with productive discussions and significant milestones, underscoring our ongoing commitment to the growth of MSMEs and celebrating the accomplishments of valued colleagues.
